August 1, 2010 AL “Bucktailing” FLuke

Big decision for me as to where to start. I had these guys out earlier this year and they can fish, and fish hard. A totally different drift has me heading back to where it was slow yesterday. Ralph hooks up immediately with a keeper. On the next drift Al puts1 in the box, then alot of shorts, alot of moving here and there, and Terry puts a real nice fluke in the box,  then it turns to shorts.  Guys are fishing hard, lots of action but the wrong size. I will head to the deep but I have 2 more spots that I need to take them. The first spot puts 4 more keepers with Ralph catching his big fish there. The last stop we fished found a good batch of fish and the fluke hotel was feeling up. Real decent fishing, and these guys fish hard all day long. This is not easy to bounce all the whole day, but they do!! Back at the dock some of the fish were bigger then I first thought.(no ground shrinkage). Plenty of white meat to go around. Hats off to Ralph who boated his limit of real quality fish……….
