As I pulled in the parking lot early this morning, I was met by Ken. I could tell he was very excited for this trip from talking to him a few times and he was ready to go fishing. The fishing has been redhot and it is due to take a rest, I just hope it will not be today. Rounding the hook before sunrise with Ken and his crew, I just wanted to see my fishfinder light up, and or find birds on the way down the beach.  The low tide put a big dent in my plans to fish bait, and this was plan”B”. It did not take too long too find the fish as they were swirling all over, getting them to bite was another story. However, these guys were determined and by the trips end put thier limit in the boat with many throwbacks. This was not the slamdunk fishing that we have been seeing. It took some real effort, but they were up to the challenge. When the trip was over, they were taking a cooler full of the “white meat” back to Pennsylvannia. Another great day on the water, great bunch of guys, great weather and good fishing. Thanks Ken for fishing with us on the Scales n Tales…….
